Vegetarian Eating at Disneyland

I was so excited to see this post on the Disney Parks blog today!

Eating vegetarian at Disney isn't too hard (although at many restaurants you need to go "off the menu") but this is a great exploration of the best vegetarian food at quick-service dining areas.

Cars Land Opening Announced

Disney had announced that the new Cars Land in Disney California Adventure would be opening in summer 2012. The opening date has now been made more specific, with a projected opening date of June 15th, 2012.

Once completed, Cars Land will include Mater's Junyard Jamboree, Radiator Springs Racers, and Luigi's Flying Tires. There will also be new restaurants and shopping areas.
 

Custom Disney Park Maps

Maybe I'm the last to know about this, but yesterday I discovered that you can order customized Disney park maps online here!

You can choose to highlight your favorite attractions in each park (the maps are available for Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom) and chose a theme for your map. Once you have designed your maps, you can print them yourself at home or request copies to be sent in the mail. 

I requested to have some mailed to me but it will be a few weeks before I receive them--Cant wait!

Rapunzel Mug

This isn't necessarily "news" or even important "info" but, oh my, is this mug spectacular!

 This mug and others are available through the UK Disney Store but I am desperately hoping they will be made available in the US or in the parks. Other princesses and characters are available, but Rapunzel is my favorite. Take a look at the mugs here.
